GIFAS for the construction industry
GIFAS provides sustainable solutions, also for the toughest operating cases.
What makes our butyl-rubber products so uniquely sturdy?
The solid rubber material used by GIFAS for production
GIFAS uses a synthetic polymer SBR rubber as a raw material, which provides the best properties of all the possible materials. From the raw material in granular or strip form, the final shape of the workpiece is formed under high pressure and temperature in our own machines, it is also vulcanised. Through this rubber vulcanising process, the rubber is changed and becomes elastically shape stable, insoluble and has very good thermal properties. This vulcanisation is a time and work-intensive process and therefore very expensive. Only the outstanding characteristics of the end product justify this effort.
